The panorama of seductive coastline welcomed us to the Great Ocean Road

Allansford Cheese FactoryThis is what we are waiting for. The ride was relatively easy compare with the other day although the weather was not perfect. A weak cold front swept through so we encountered showers most of today's ride. Warrambool was worth mentioning on this page as it has traffic lights - something that we had not seen since we left Adelaide. We arrived to our lunch stop in the Allansford Cheese factory (at 50 km mark and 9.30 am!!). Oh well, when you are in a bicycle tour, you are ready to eat anytime.

Most riders took their time today, of course. Not many times in your life you come to scenery like this on your push bike!

After all the sight seeing done, a wicked descent before the entrance to Port Campbell made the ride extremely pleasurable. Port Campbell was a relatively small town and we had booked out the biggest two motels there. With a sunny warm afternoon to ourselves, some decided to take a Scenic Boat Tour to have close look at the 12 apostles. On the other hand, I had a large of mug of cappuccino and sandwich at local cafe (called 20ate - what a name!) and sun baking at the nearby beach.

Dinner was at the newly renovated Surf Life Saving Club overlooking the beach at dawn. I was served with curry chicken rice, which was cooked by the renowned chef from the Waves restaurant in Pt Campbell. I usually considered the curry are best made by the Malaysian. Well, not now.
